The paper is created as the tendency of a group of authors, that with an integrative approach in the application of intelligent systems, by using analogy with some function in human body, to develop a model to improve organizational performance. The paper is based on two unique bases, of a representative number of data that reflect real business conditions and including a significant number of organizations. In order to achieve the set goals, several approaches were adopted, tools and methods, such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methodology, case base reasoning, artificial intelligence toolsā€“ expert systems, verification in real condition and other. As the key outcomes of the paper are obtained the fields that are critical to achieve the best organizational performance, and indicators for the development of expert systems whose functions, efficiency and effectiveness are verified in real conditions

MODELS FOR QUALITY SYSTEM AND BUSINESS EXCELLENCE IMPLEMENTATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This paper presents the experience of the authors, which was acquired during the preparation and initial steps in the project implementation of the quality system at the University of Montenegro. The paper points out some models and distinguishes one, in our opinion, which is based on detailed analysis, the optimal model for the establishment of quality in higher education and excellence in higher education. Also, the paper was presented and the structure and basic for referential which can make implementation of a high quality in the institution

DEFINING PREVENTIVE ACTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BUSINESS PROCESS PERFORMANCES BY USING EXPERT SYSTEM

This paper present own approach for improvement business process performances through improvement in area of quality management system by using expert system. In that way it is defining own approach of analogy between quality management system and human body in part of unwilling function. It was used a global approach for looking for arise of nonconformity or anomalies in quality management system. On identified places it was defined preventive action for improvement. Like the support it was realized an expert system which in the exit, depend of input data, give set of measurement for improvement

INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS FOR DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT BASED ON BCM APPROACH

This paper represents research of several years which is conducted at the Centre for Quality at The faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica. The main objective was to obtain performances improvement measures for business processes by gathering various approaches and techniques and by underlying importance of integrated approach. This paper gives completely new approach in management systems which aim to provide business continuity according to previous defined goals. Following this, it has been created a system for risks prediction and elimination that could endanger organization functionality and could also deteriorate its performances. In this vein, a base for functioning of intelligent decision-making support system is provided. Hence, we accomplished preconditions for organizational performances improvement and knowledge acquisition concerning areas that must be under special treatment in order to enhance firm performance level

MODEL OF IMPROVING ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BY MULTI - SOFTWARE

    No full text
This paper is based on doctoral dissertation which is oriented on improving environmental management system using multi - software. In this doctoral dissertation will be used key results of master thesis which is oriented on quantification environmental aspects and impacts by artificial neural network in organizations. This paper recommend improving environmental management system in organization using Balanced scorecard model and MCDM method - AHP (Analytic hierarchy process) based on group decision. BSC would be spread with elements of Environmental management system and used in area of strategic management system in organization and AHP would be used in area of checking results getting by quantification environmental aspects and impacts

SCIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND QUALITY IN TERMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SCIENCE

The paper starts with a dilemma whether the quality, as a circular logic of the process model, is a scientific discipline or just an art of achieving and satisfaction of requests and wishes of the customer. Beginning from that dilemma, a relationship between science, knowledge and the quality management system has been elaborated. That relationship has been articulated in this paper using examples of improvement as a key principle of QMS. Elaboration of the improvement system is based on QMS principles and requests of international ISO 9000 standards. Connection of requests for improvement and teamwork is a key for understanding of this process. It is associated by one more factor during the operation, also a key for its understanding. It is a training and knowledge, which are foundation of the philosophy of success. This work indicates that it is impossible to achieve improvements without training and new acknowledgements and teamwork. Paper especially refers to the issue of relation between improvements and application of scientific methods and creation of virtual teams structured by the "owner" of the process and scientist from institutes and universities. Improvement, training, science - improvement make a spiral of the success which when initialized generated new cycles of the improvement. If quality is based on continual improvements and dynamic process of acknowledgement and if it founded on scientific prevention, scientific design, scientific recognition and scientific application, does that make it a scientific discipline

    QUANTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS

Aspects of environment represent a complex field and also one of the most demanding articles of standard considering that efficiency of environmental protection management depends exactly on substantial and fundamental respect of this request. The contribution of this paper is directed towards environmental aspects quantification phase where new method based on neural network was initiated. The method should provide sufficient objectiveness and accuracy in assessment of environmental impacts for all types of organization and it is based upon the specificity of available mathematical models used by certified organizations in SCG

    PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION USING AGENT-BASED SYSTEM

Production systems suffer frequent changes due to the growing demand and need for providing market competitiveness. Therefore, the application of intelligent systems can greatly increase the level of flexibility and efficiency, but also reduce the overall costs. On example of system for the production of irregular and variable shaped parts by cutting the wooden flat surfaces, it is discussed the possibility of applying intelligent agent-based system. In order to implement it in the production process, it was necessary to firstly performed an analysis and assessment of the initial situation. Then, we spotted a weak points and gave some suggestions to improve process by application of agents. The obtained solution has reduced the number of engaged workers, reduced the scope of their duties, made faster flow of materials, improved its utilization and we finally introduced the scheme of the new agent-based manufacturing process that achieves the foregoing benefits

The paper is result of studies conducted at the Center for Quality-Faculty of Mechanical Engineering-Podgorica and it specifically includes a detailed study and analysis of literature sources concerning innovation, quality management systems, total quality management-(TQM). The main objective of this paper is to analyze the current research in the previously mentioned subject areas and to come to certain conclusions that would relate to the specific characteristics, trends and connections in the areas under consideration. The goal is to create a basis for further exploration and definition of hypothesis-based experiments that will be conducted in certified Montenegrin companies. Accordingly, this paper is the first hat analyses literature sources about opportunities and benefits of QMS and TQM and development of innovation performance
